CHICAGOS NEWEST TRACK H D Brown Announces Site at atArlington Arlington Heights for Proposed ProposedNew New Race Course Ever since the announcement that the American National Jockey Club which was organized by H D Curly Brown would build a hew race track in the vicinity of Chicago there has been considerable curiosity over the location of the proposed racing grounds Mr Brown who has been identi ¬ fied with thft sport for many years both as the builder of a number of race tracks and a breeder and owner of thoroughbreds made known yesterday that his organization had secured 400 acres of land at Arlington Heights 111 about twentytwo miles from the loop on the North Western Railroad and it was proposed to build the new track there The club aso has an option on 500 more acres adjoining the property and it may secure the additional tract shortly shortlyPlans Plans for the new racing plant as disclosed by Mr Brown include the construction of three tracks There will be one track at a mile and an eighth a steeplechase course and a mile training strip Stable room for 1200 horses will be provided providedThe The grandstand will accommodate 18000 fans and parking space for 300 autos wil be provided under the main stands Parking space for an additional 10000 cars will be allotted near the track Two golf courses adjoining are likewise contemplated contemplatedArlington Arlington Heights is an ideal location twentyfive miles by auto from the loop and an hour and fifteen minutes by special train from Milwaukee MilwaukeeContracts Contracts for the construction of the plant are to be made during the present week and the course should be completed by the middle of September
