BANNER MEETING PREDICTED TORONTO Ont June 4 Louis Angevine secretary of the Montreal Jockey Club waa a visitor at Thorncliffe Park He came down from Montreal to wind up the many little de ¬ tails that go with the opening of a race meeting The addition to the grandstand has been completed and everything is in readi ¬ ness for the opening which is scheduled Fri ¬ day June 17 We expect our meeting to be on a par with those held at Blue Bon ¬ nets some few years back said Mr Ange ¬ vine I say this without reservation for the reason that the class of horses which will participate in our racfng will be of a much better grade than for several years past There is also plenty of local enthusiasm and all that we want is pleasant weather to make the Montreal meeting a banner one Mr Angevine will return to Montreal tonight
