MOUNT ROYAL TURF NOTES s With the return to the city on Thursday morning, of Leo Dandurand, one of the partners now owning the fine Blue Bonnets course, plans were placed actively under way for the opening of the meeting there a week from Saturday. As becomes Montreals finest racing plant, the plans call for a pretentious gathering, in which amateur, military and lady riders will be catered to, in addition to the routine racing. Manager Dandurand announced in this connection that a big shipment of horses which was being sent from Toronto, London and Oshawa to compete in the hunt races at Lucerne-in-Quebec, would come on to Blue Bonnets so that these sporting events at the big track will assume intercity importance and be a scoial event of unusual interest. j !
