IRKSOME TIPS OVER MILLIE M The Ideal Park track is again fast The class of racing will improve from this out There was quite a good lot in yesterdays fourth race and it furnished an interesting contest Irk ¬ some at a long price boating Millie M and Bryan Millie M was an oddson godson choice and almost every good judge at the track had a bet on her She looked like a real good thing and on the far turn when she shook Bryan off her backers thought it was all over But on the far stretch turn Sherland Shetland brought Irksome up and challenging the Roller filly above the eighth pole outgamed untamed her and won with a bit to spare on the end Irksomes Irksome race was a good one far better than her last performance She went back in the betting from sixes to fifteen but at the last moment was backed down to 12 to 1 1Lew Lew Blew Hopper was in a soft spot in the third race and was backed almost off the boards He won thanks to Caywoods Cawed clever handling Glenb Glen au with Clay up went out early and set a terrific pace It looked as though he was in the race for that purpose Leinad Leonard purposeLeinad purposelessness won the first race in a gallop and C H Whelan Wheelman beat Jess and Mace just as easily in the second secondDr seconded Dr Work was the only one played in the closing dash and he won driving from Lettie Letter
