WASHINGTON PAKK PAK MAY RACE RACEA RACE A meeting of the directors of the Washington Park Club was held at the Wellington hotel last iiight for the purpose of considering the ques quest ¬ tion ion of holding a race meeting in 1898 After a full discussion of the subject a resolution was adopted declaring it to be the sense of the board that a meeting should be held if practic practice ¬ able the matter being referred to the execu exec ¬ tive tie committee with full power to act The legal phase of the matter has been thor ¬ oughly roughly considered and the executive committee meeting mentioned will be held within next few days
