SLOANS LOANS RELEASE RELEASEWhat Release What may possibly be assumed to be Messrs Messes Fleischmauns Freshman side of the story of Tod Todd Sloans Slogans release from his engagement to ride their horses is thus detailed in the Cincinnati Enquirer of Sunday SundayThere Sunbather There is a Cincinnati end to the story of Tod Todd Sloans Slogans release by the Fleischmanns Freshman The release was brought about through a misunder mistune ¬ standing between Mr Julius Fleischmann Freshman the head of the stable and the wellknown welkin jockey which resulted in the unconditional release of the great rider Several times since Sloan has been under contract with the Floischmanns Logicians there have been reports that Sloan was to be re ¬ leased and that he was to ride for Marcus Daly Dally the Copper King The last report was that he was about to sign for next season with some South African millionaire These reports were always denied as fast as they appeared appearedThere appeared There is no rumor in this report that he has been released It is absolutely true and was given by telegraph yesterday yesterdayThe yesterday The cause of his release is due to Sloans Slogans am ¬ bition Briton to ride what he thinks are certain win ¬ ners nears in big stake events Several times this season Mr Julius Fleischmann Freshman has scratched horses in big events just to satisfy the whim of Sloan who could get the mount on the favorite It was this that caused the misunderstanding which resulted in his release releaseThe release The Fleischmanu Freshman string is now at Saratoga and several of their best racers are ready for stake events The other day Sloan asked per ¬ mission to go to Brighton Beach and ride Ham ¬ burg in the Brighton Cup Mr Julius Fleisch Flemish ¬ mann said that he had accommodated Sloan so often that he thought he should be accommo accommodate ¬ dated once in a while and declined to give per ¬ mission This was not done without good rea area ¬ son as Mr Fleischmann Freshman had several starters at Saratoga yesterday when the Brighton Cup was run for at the Beach Sloan got warm under the collar and said he was to receive 5000 from Marcus Daly Dally if he won with Hamburg Mr Fleischmann Freshman said that was no Teason Treason why he should sacrifice several races and then came the argument and employer and jockey parted without an understanding Mr Floischmann came to this city and talked the matter over with several of his intimate friends and it was thought advisable to come to some terms with the joekey jockey Sloan was very anxious to be released It was finally agreed that Sloan was to be released and he was to be paid what ¬ ever Mr Fleischmanu Freshman thought his services have been worth this season The result was Sloan was released yesterday yesterdayIt yesterday It is not known who will ride for the stable in the future but it is safe to say that Mr Fleischmann Freshman will not be long without the ser ¬ vices of a competent jockey Sloan is now at liberty to ride for whom he pleases and a day or so will no doubt find him riding regularly for Daly Dally who is getting ready to race in England where Sloan has a longing to shine once more as the greatestof greatest American jockeys
