Lomond ran as good a race as the winner. He is an honest, game colt, was cut off early and got through late. Mortgage is worth tabbing. Is evidently a eood colt. He was green at the post, got away in a tanele and closed with great resolution. Ice Drop was poorly ridden and stumbled in the stretch. Watch hin. Pidalia had a lot of speed, but stopped. Is promising Jennie Riley was interfered with on the turn and Harry Thatcher was shut off. Watch both. Overweights Bathos, 5 pounds; Pidalia, 1; Jennie Riley, 1. Bathos, place, 8 to l;show, 4Jol.
