JOHN CONDONS RETIREMENT. On the authority of secretary Nathanson it is stated that John Condon has severed all connection with racing. Tho lease under which the Harlem racetrack was held and operated, expired January 1, and has not been renewed as yet. On account of his almost total blindness, Condon feels himself incapacitated from further participation in the pursuits with which, for a number of years past, he has been so actively associated and declares his retirement is permanent. Within a few days ho will go to Hot Springs, Ark., and remain there for some time for the benefit of his health.
