Tony Licalzi began slowly and ran an honest race, closing a lot of ground and wearing Widow Jones down in the last few strides. The mud suits the Widow. She ran her race. Opponent did not. He was shut off around the turn, but did not perform to the mark. La Maroma wabbled sadly in the stretch alter showing speed. Novia was dull and Ruckpr duller. He was bumpsd and unlucky but surmounted the trouble and drew away from the others when called on. Rip Chico ran his race and mot with no trouble. Jnva ran well and showed partiality to the going. Magdalenes showed a flash of speed and stopped early. She can do better. Ach was knocked about and unlucky, yet did not run to form. Kootenai made no showing but will do to watch.
