JOCKEY CLUB OFFICIALS. The Stewards of the Jockey Club met in New York Friday and appointed the following officials for the present year: Judges R. W. Simmons and Clarence McDowell. Starter C. J. Fitzgerald. Clerk of the Scales H. G. Crickmore. Handicapper and Forfeit Clerk W. S. Vos-bnrg. Starting Judge W. H. Barrett. Paddock and Patrol Judge J. L. Hall. The appointment of the official steward to represent the Jockey Club at licensed courses was deferred until a subsequent meeting. Permission was granted to Perry Belmont to change the name of the three-year-old colt Fioh-sinn, by Spendthrift Llandrino, to Lackland and to Marcus Daly to change the name of the two-year-old colt by Bathampton Alice Him-yar from Aherlow to Hamptonian. The following resolution was adopted: "Resolved, That the stewards of the Jockey Club desire to advise the various associations racing under their rules that the entries of horses by married men shall not be received so long as-their wives remain in the forfeit list." George B. Pattersons application that the decision under which the entries of the horse Burlesque are refused on all Jockey Club courses be rescinded is denied.
