NOTES OF THE TURF. Of the 203 entries received to the Lawrence Realization for 1900, only thirty-six have declared, leaving 172 still eligible. The Futurity of 1899 received 755 nominations, of which 171 are void, and 307 have declared, which leaves 277 still eligible. The entries in full to both of these events are published in The Racing Calendar of March 2. The Spirit of the Times declares that it has it from the best of authority that there will positively be no running meeting at Washing ton Park this year unless the bill now before the Illinois legislature is passed, The prospects, we are glad to state, are most favorable for the passage of the bill. Jockey Fred Taral has signed to ride the coming season for Eastin and Larabie, owners of Baa Holladay.
