ORK.VILLE BELLES SALE, Nashville, Tonn., March 4. General W. H. Jackson, of the Belle Meade Stud, has sold to William Easton, presumably for W. C. Whitney, Yorkvilla Balle,. with a foal by her side by Tithoius, by St. Simon. The price is said to be 0,000 This famous racemare became the prt perty or Bello Meade Stud when Gen. Jackson purchased Mr. Crokers interest therein suvrHl years since. Fieak, the three-year-old half sister to Forget and Frogmore, will be sent to Memphis where she will be given a special preparation for the rich Tennessee Oaks by Pat. Tomlinson. General Jackson has also sold twelve of his yearling fillies, most of them by Iroquois, to Bruce Seaton, of England. This leaves only colts for the Belle Meade spring sale, which will take place in New York. T. R. Scott has sold to John Troxler, of this city, the four-year-old chestnut filly Lady of the West, by Chorister Daphne. Price ,500. H. N. McTyeire, of Nashville, has purchased of the estate of W. M. Edwards, Union City, Tenn., the stallion Longfish, by Longfellow-Kate Fisher.
