Winner Ch. c, by Kantaka Nattof. Post 4 minutes. Start good. Won easily ; second and third were driving. King Barleycorn came away like a stake colt the last eighth and won as be pleased. Kentucky Colonel was pinched otf at the start. He had a lot of oarly speed, though, and went to the front like a flash. He stopped, too, just as fast after going about three-quarters. This colt may dislike a route. Jolly Roger was catching Elmer S, fast at the end. He was cut off twice in the run home, but stood the interference like a gentleman. Simply bad racing luck boat him out of the place. Martin rode King Barleycorn to perfection. Knapp stole a march on the other boys on the far turn and saved ground rpunding into the stretch. His mount ran a surprisingly good race. King Barleycorn, place, 1 to 2. Elmer 3. place. 8 to 1; show, 2 to 1. TTYTTB FIFTH RACE 1 Mile.
