Barrabas and Eberhart set a terrific paca considering the heavy going and killed whatever chances they had of winning, tho first throe-quarters of a mile. In fact Barabbas stopped to a walk the last eighth of a mile. Eberhart acted as though he was short. Lillian Read ran a fair race only. Del Coronado finished second on sufferance. Ho was wretchedly ridden. Do Sota made no effort to get up with the leaders tho first part of it. Jack Hayes would have baen second if he had not fallen going over the last jump. He was vory tired. His jockoy gives this as the cause of the accident. Zufallig ran well.
