NOTES OF THE TURF. Many good riders have been developed on the San Francisco tracks Bince racing on an extended scale was inaugurated there in 1892. Tod Sloan, Clawson, Spencer, H. Dwyer Shannon, for brown colt, by LamplighterSweet Blossom, and Anthracite, for black colt, by Albert Entricia. Tbo horse King Barleycorn, placed under the ban at Gravesend for running last one start and first the ncst, has been restored to good standing. He has started several times since his suspension, but only in stake races where he had previously been engaged. Cy" Mulkey, the veteran trainer, who for more than a year past has bsen one of the host of Eeeker3 for gold in Alaska, has returned to San Francisco in good health, but whether he brought back any of the yellow ore or not, has not been made public. The California Jockey Club has issued a list of ten stakes to be decided after January 1. None of the stakes ia worth le s than 500, j while tha moat valuable is valued at 0,000.
