King Carnival wore Hapsburg down in the stretch and won with something in reserve. Hapsburg ran well and finished gamely. Royal Salute ran fairly well. Joe Martin closed a big gap from a bad beginning. Zanone was probably short. At any rate he did not display his usual speed.
