j OLIVERS HORSES AT HARLEM. Every stable, "kitchen" and "tack" room at Harlem is full. The last to arrive was William j Oliver, with a string of twelve thoroughbreds. t. He came in yesterday direct from Morris Park. J Accompanying him were Clarence Wilson and James Cleary, his jockeys. The former will ride for him on the flat and Cleary will ride his jumper Governor Budd. In Olivers stable are . Brisk, who has won five races this year; Ri- i naldo II., who has earned three brackets this season; All Gold, candidate for the American Derby, and Warrenton, winner of the 1898 Senior • Stakes at Harlem and who ran second to Pink Coat in the American Derby of 1898. - Following is a partial list of Olivers horses i with their pedigrees: Warrenton, b. h, 5, by Florist— Addie Warren. ] Brisk, ch. g. 7. by Springfield — Active. In the lot is Bramble Rose, the speedy three-year-old which Oliver recently purchased -from W. C. Whitney, Clammer a good four-yea r-old, and Isaac Hopper, a crack two-year- i old by Ludwig. The horses stood the trip from | the east in excellent shape and all of them look fit for a race. Oliver is enthusiastic over the , prospects in and about Chicago and he prediet that his stable will capture a majority of the • stake events which are slated for the coming Harlem meeting, which opens June 9.
