I HARLEM NOTES. Harlems new steeplechase course will be ready for the spring meeting, June 9. It is being modeled after that at Morris Park. Albert Simons, whose horses failed to show well at Lakeside, wired Secretary Xathauson yesterday from Gravesend saying that he had purchased five thoroughbreds which he has shipped to Harlem. T. A. Magee, with six horses, including Fre-linghuysen and Wolhurst, will arrive at Harlem Saturday from Gravesend. Mr. Magees stable comes west with that of Green B. Morris. Chinn and Forsythe, with twelve two-year-olds from Louisville, got in yesterday, and Will Wallaces horses also arrived at Hawthorne yesterday. May Beach has not been shipped away from Harlem as rumored. Owner Wood say6 tnat he lias no intention of sending her away. She will be a contender in one or more of the stake races carded for Harlems spring meeting.
