LAST OF THE HANOVERS SOI I . Extraordinary interest attended the sale of the McGrathiana yearlings at New York Friday last from the fact that the last of the progeny of the dead sire Hanover were to pass under the hammer. Thirty-five yearlings from the famous breeding farm were disposed of for S6.220, an average of ,463.48. The stars of the sale were the yearlings bred on shares from select mares belonging to A. H. and D. H. Morris. John Madden gave 0,000 for the Hanover— Correction colt and refused an offer of 2,000 for him directly afterwards.
