Helio-bas was easily the best, iB in grand form and was at a false price, probably on account of his wind affection. Vesuvian is a good colt, handled his weight well and is a great stretch runner. Meehanus ran well. His saddle girth was broken and Maher was slipping all around on him. He was interfered with also. Mark Cheek ran as if short. Ben Lodi, outclassed, ran a good race Mr. Jersey, probably short, showed a lot of speed. Favonius wants a longer distance.
