Lake Fouso was much the best and won as she pleased. Dousterswivel was cut off on the backstretch and closed fast at the end. Flora Daniels ran a good race. Sevoy showed plenty of speed for the first five furlongs and will do to watch. Slow Go ran away three eighths of a mile to a false break ruining whatever chances he might have had. Mattie Bain wore blinkers for the first time, but it did not improve her running. Virginia T., slow to get in motion, closed fast at the end and ran a good race.
