NOTES OF THE TURK. Jockey Fenuimoit. who was injured by the all of his mount. Jugglery, in the fifth race at Highland Park, Detroit, on August 2, died on Ft iday night. August 3. A thousand dollars was raised among the owners and jockeys at the track for the benefit of his widowed mother, who lives at Camden, N. J., and whose only dependence was the late jockey. The Saratoga jockeys are talking of inaugurating a strike because Starter Caldwell fines them so constantly that they are riding for nothing and most in debt.
