Lady Eent finished fast and came away in the last quarter and won as her rider pleased. Midnight Chimes broke running and set a fast pace, but tired in the last sixteenth. Pharoah was outrun in the first half, but was closing up at the end. Lof ter closed a big gap after getting away badly. By George and Lelia Barr got away running. Red Robe fell during a false break and galloped the distance slowly, but ran gamely in the race. Plum Tart finished strongly and got third place in the last stride.
