Bine Ridge ran a good race, finished strongly and was best at the end. Zibia Bhowed much speed, bat faltered in the last eighth. He ran in mnch improved form. Queen W. ran at about an even clip throughout and finished well. 8miths Reel showed a lot of speed, but quit badly when challenged. Lady Lik ran a fair race from a poor beginning. Preetorius was Bpeedy throughout and the result was never in doubt. Mab.l Winn ran an excellent race, showing more gameness than usual. Amote came from last position turning into the stretch, swung to the outside of his field and finished with a great rush. He was running past horses at the end. Linso ran in much better form than she has shown in her last two races. Hat Mitchell showed speed for four and a half furlongs. 8tella Perkins, off well, was badly outrun for the entire route. Walter Cleary had the xace at his mercy, but Bheered to the right out of the course just beforo taking the last jump. Patroon Btumbled over the ninth jump. Andos awakened witha Buddenness that was inBpiriDg and ran a cracking good race. He was unexpectedly up cloee all the way and finished strongly. His race was in sharp contrast to hiB poor effort Beptemhor 30. If You Dare finished fast and true, but could not quite get up. Sharp Bird lost a little ground when turning into the Btretch by swinging slightly wide. He came fast at the end and showed more gameneBS than uBual. Master Mariner was right there and may be a hard horse to beat at his next asking. Maggie Davis quit when the drive came and has probably trained off. Harry Herendeen was virtually left at the post. Merriment ran right to her best form, but she was tiring at the end and had all she could do to hold second place. Aladdin came strongly at , the end under a clever ride and would have been second in a stride or two. South Trimble as usual finished stoutly. He is very consistent. Hoodwink ran well for five and a half furlongs. The time, 1:18, established a new American record, the fastest previous mark being 1:19, made by Sly at this track last year.
