Marcy was away in his stride, was well placed and came on fast when called on, Bean began slowly and was weakly handled, but finished strongly and might have won with a strong ride. Tea Gown also began slowly, bat finished very stoutly under the whip. Deloraine ran her race. Belle , of Elgin was cut off at the stretch turn when she seemed like a sharp contender. Off in front flying, she was taken back on the turn to noarly last place, then came on like a c clone next to the rail whan too late. Judge Pottus, interfered with at the start, never had a chance to use his speed. Ciales showed a fine burst of speed for three eighths but the weight stopped her.. Spinal showed none of his UBual spead at any part of it and ran a dull race. Dugan took him up at the start and held him back for the first three eighths. He likes to run in front best. She is very good just now. Kittia Clyde did her best and ran to her mark. Euterpe was well ridden and did not snffer from any mishaps. Belle Simpson was very sore and lame. Zonne ran a dull race. Marion Lynch waB well ridden, finished fast and outlasted Lady Carzon, but was beginning to tire at the end. Lady Curzou, off poorly, gained ground fast. She ia very good. Nannie Nolan, poorly ridden, finished strongly and just got up iu time to gat the short end of the purse. Fairbury, poorly ridden, ran his race, rercy R. was cut off and pocketed in the early part of the race, but can do better.
