WES1EBN JOCBIT CLUB EULINGS. The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Stewards of the Western Jockey Club was held Monday, October 7. Application of jockey V. Porter for reinstatement was denied. Application of C. A. Bichcreek for reinstatement was pacsed to the next meeting. The horse Fingal was reinstated. Rule 161 waB amended to read as follows: Boys who never rode a winner and who have of their own ftee will and with the consent of their parents or gaardianB, bound themselves as apprentices to owners or trainers for a term of not less than three years by a written instrument, certified copy of which has been lodged with the Btewards of the Western Jockey Glnb, shall be permitted to claim a five-pound allowance in all Belling races, excepting Belling handicaps. They ehall be entitled to this allowance for one year after baine licensed as apprentices. Allowance nndor Wife rule mast be claimed at the time of entry, and the owner shall not be permitted to waive each allowance except by- consent of the judges. Bush was appointed as representative steward of the Western Jockey Club. Officials to serve daring the fall meeting of the Latonia Jockey Clnb, beginning October 25, were approved, as follows: L. P. Tarlton and E. C. Hopper, judges. E. C. Hopper, handicapper. John B. Dillon, clerk of the scales. George G. Perkins-was appointed steward to represent the Western Jockey Clnb. The Western Jockey Club adjourned toBpecial meeting prior to next regular meeting on call of the chairman. Lawrence A. Ynung, Chairman of the Westorn Jockey Club, gave oat the following statement last night: "We have made some reinstatements and will CONTINUED ON SECOND TAOS, WESTERN JOCKEY CLUB RULINGS . Continued from First Page. probably mako more. This will ba the policy of the Western Jockey Club to those who apply in good faith and who expect to remain adherents of the Western Jockey Club. We may make soma mistakes, but, bo far as I am ad vised, only one man we heretofore reinstated has abused the act of restoration by racing again on tracks not recognized by the club. We do not look for others to do so, but, of course, where it is done there can be no possibility of a second reinstatement. Such act of bad faith will forever bar the party from the Western Jockey Club."
