He easily outclassed the field, but the bad Bendoff forced Trim to do his best. Aline 8. showed improvement and performed creditably. Rabunta ran wall .and will improve from this race. He was in a pocket on the backetretch and Troxler -was forced to take him back and go around his field. Ho came away in the stretch and won well in band. Lillian M. skinned the rail on the stretch turn and saved much ground by this. Stings race was not to the mark. He should have been closer up. Chandoo, under bad handling, ran -well. Marion Lynch Buffered from much interference and was probably the best. Revoke wa badly bundled. Beanchamp atked too much of the horse in the early stages and had nothing left at the end to stall off Kleven Bells and Marion Lynch. Frank Pearco ran well for the first three-quarters. He was cut off soon after the start and again on the first turn. Troxler was content to rate him down th backatretch. He then attempted to get through on the inside, but the field closed in and forced him to go around. He came with a great rush through the atretch and caught Peaceful in the closing strides. Thn latter ran in much improvd form over hia last previous effort and but for being weakly ridden at the end should have won. Lunar and Lady Strathmore were often bumped and Buffeted from much interference. Htill it was asking too much of the last-named to concede so much weight.
