WESTER! CINQ DATES. At a meeting of the Board of Stewards of the Western Jockey Glab held on December 10, 1901, the following officers were elected to serve daring the ensuing year: Lawrence A. Young, Chairman; George G. Perkins, Vice-Chairman; Jamas Howard, Treasurer; George H. Knhl, Secretary. The following changes were made in the racing rulos : Bale 2 was amended eo as to require Secretaries to file their reports within ten days after the close of each meeting. Rale 208 was changed -to xead as follows: An owner or trainer who shall inn a horse or a jockey who shall ride a horse at an unrecognized meeting shall be disqualified. Such horses and all other horses owned or under the control of such ownors and trainers shall also be disqualified, except that such disqualification , shall not include stallions or brood mares in service or foals of 1900 and 1901 unless such owners or trainers shair hereafter run a horse at an unrecognized meeting or otherwise disqualify themselves. A person acting in any capacity at an unrecognized meeting shall also be disqualified. Bull 210 was amended so as to provide that a city having a population lea 8 than 1,500,000 and over 500,000, and for a distance of fifty miles from the corporate limits of such city, the added money given any one racinglday must average not less than 00 for each race, pro--vided that no purse shall be less than 00. The fee for licensed meetings was fixed at 5 per day for each race day. Messrs. Howard, Nathanson and Euhl were appointed a committee to prepare rules for publication. The said rules to be effective on and after January i, 1932. The disqualification of the Little Bock Jockey Club of Little Bock, Arkansas, and of the Tennessee Breeders Association of Nashville, Ten. nessee, was removed. Jockeys Angus Johnson, N, Martin. Application of B. W. DeNeffe for trainers license was denied because of non-payment of forfeits. Application of W. Dean for Jockey license was granted; license to be issued upon receipt of regular application. The following applications for reinstatement were denied: Jockeys -Spencer, Sutherland, Jessie A. Hart, Charles Houck, H. J. Howell, Fletcher Jones, Charles F. Euhne, George Schill, Isaac Washington. Application of Eli G. Sawtell for reinstatement of horse Board Marker was denied. Application of Frank J. Eittleman for reinstatement and for the reinstatement of the horses Cormorant and Ursula Gurnett was denied. Application of Benjamin Nicholson, William Miller, Jacob Salm and Buben Walters, owners ; George W. Carmack, trainer, and for the reinstatement of the horses Tobe Paine and J, J. T. were denied. Application of George B. Yunck for reinstatement and for the reinstatement of Bad Penny was denied. Application for reinstatement of E. M. Rudolph and the horse Edna Eenner was denied.
