Huachuca was cleverly handled, saved grdnnd next to the rail and fought out the finish gamely. Jarretiero dOr, a long striding and awkward colt, was carefully handled by Bpencer with better results than his recent races. He trailed the field on the outBide and closed up with a tremendous rush at the end. Ishtar is undersized, but displayed fine speed and probably failed at the end bee ansa of the big weight. Ester Nell quit badly in the Btretch. Huachuca, show, out. Jarretiere dOr, show. 3 to 5. Ishtar, show, out. 29899 TH1KD BACK 1 Mile PnrseS400 3-year-olds and upward. Belling. Maresa is in good form for her, set a tremendous pace and should win soon. Cougar, off badly, closed a tremendous gap and might have been best. David S. was carried wide on the first turn and received a bad looking ride. Gibraltar cannot beat thiB kind in his present form but was prominent for six furlongs.
