Basileus was at home in the going, came fast in the last quarter and won without trouble. Flintlock is rounding to and ran a winning race. Dangman took matters too easy with him in the first part of the race,- but closed up a lot of ground in the run home. Floret and Worthington raced each other to weariness and tired in the run home. The Common quit in the last quarter. Ethel Davis was under a drive all through the last quarter and outgamed Carrie I. when it came to a drive. Carrie I. was worn out in tryiag to catch Foneda. The others were never contenders. Hinsdale was much the best in the going. He made his own running and none of the others could stay with him. All Saints ran fairly well and outlasted the others. The Way finished strongly and got third place in the last stride. Leanja should have been third but Kelly quit riding in the last sixteenth and could not get his mount to going again when The Way caught him. Blanco had a rough trip, was cut off and knocked back when rounding the far turn and had to come all around his field to get up. Hallucination was cut off on the last turn and pulled out and went around, but tired in the run home. Spinet quit badly in the final quarter. Scratched 33196Night Owl, 105; 33269 Heroine, 91. It was a weak ride on Kings Pet. Colonel Strathy is a bad actor and was almost left. Ecome can do better. .
