Jack Young ran a good race and showed considerable improvement. Goo Goo was off badly, poorly ridden and ran a good race. Mindora dis- unusual early speed, but was cut off at the stretch turn and forced to pull up and go around his Elayed eld. Sailors Dream finished fast under a bad ride and was probably best. Helen Print was poorly ridden. She was cut off twice by Buccleuth and Sambo on the backstretch and again at the three-eighths post and forced to pull up and go around. She ran past her horses, but in doing so bore in and hit Buccleuth, who in tarn bore in on Croix dOr and Sambo. Helen Print was going away at the time and was best. Jordan refused to begin well, but ran kindly in the last half, closed up ground fast and fouled as many horses as Helen Print, and was a good second. Father Wentker showed speed, but was staggering at the end, bora in and fouled Sambo with grievous effect in the last fifty yards. Sambo ran a good race and was a sharp contender at the time of the foul. Buccleuth ran in much improved form and was going well when Helen Print fouled him. Croix dOr showed speed, but tired. Helen Print and Father Wentkler were disqualified for fouling. Jordan, show, 2 to 5. Sambo, show, 4 to 5. Buccleuth, show, 2 to 5. Helen Print, show, 1 to 2.
