Avoid was undor restraint to the last hundred yards, then came away leisurely. Goudy closed well. Ed Ball ran a good race under a wretched ride. Chappy was short. Flash of Night was weakly ridden and has gone back in speed. The Advocate ran a good race under a very weak ride. Sinner Simon was a very warm tip. Mada Bell was nicely in at the weights, well rated, had trouble making the sharp turns, but came away in the stretch and was best. The Phoenician was slow to begin, but came fast through the stretch and might have won with an even break. Annie Oldfield ran a good race under a slovenly ride and closed strongly. Mona B. ran a good race. Mr. Mulkey, badly handled, ran a good race from where he got off. Wedding March had Bpeed. but stopped. s Scratched 33919 Lynch, 112. Mada Bell, show, 4 to 5. Pickles was in hand ah the way, came on when set down ard won at her ease. "She is a very consistent and reliable filly. Lazarre ran a good race and finished strongly. Two Lick was used too much in the early pace and stopped. A Lark was badly ridden. He should have been closer up. Frank Bullock sulked, ran out in thn stretch and acted badly generally. Kittie Clyde was much used in the early pace, but stood a long drive with her usual sameness. Wax Taper, outrun for the first seven furlongs, closed fast in the run home. Start good. Won-driving; seebnd easily. Eugenia S. took the long way and was under pressure all the way. She came strong in the stretch and finished gamely. Russian was well ridden to thi last sixteenth. Here Donegan went to pieces and the horse faltered. El Ghor, off badly , was interfered with at every step, but ran a great race. Mr. Pom-oroy was promnent to the last sixteenth, then faltered. Deponans logs are bad and he stopped when they hurt him Eugenia S.. show, 1 to 4. Russian, show, 1 to 2. El Ghor, show, 3 to 1. He shook off Orris in the stretch and won easily. Orris, which is not a sprinter, was forced off her stride, tired from extreme pressure, but ran a good race. Ciales, pinched off at the start, did not get in his stride until they had run half a mile. He closed fast and was probably second best. Hainault was not at his best today. Stuyve, show, 2 to 5. Orris, show, 7 to 10. Ciales, show, 2 to 5.
