Cormac got away in his stride, showed the most speed, was never, in danger and had something in reserve at the end. Jigger raced Lizzie Loy into exhaustion, shook her off in the run home and was an easy second. Fannie Blazes came very strongly at the end, fought it out with Dr. Hart and Commena and got third place in the last stride. Dr. Hart had no mishaps and is not of much account. Springwater came fast in the last furlong under a vigorous ride, caught Dusk? Secret and Judge Voorhees tiring and won going away. Pirati turned wide into the stretch, finished strongly and got second place without much effort. Judge Voorhees was tiring. He was under a drive all of the last furlong. Dusky Secret was raced to exhaustion in front and had little left when the pinch came. Questor closed a big gap. Stars and Bars was practically left. Scratched 34077 Murmur, 102. Jessie Jarboo showed early speed, but was under pressure all the way and was tiring in the run home. Vouch was staggering at the end and IrVen allowed him to swerve all over the track. J. J. T. weakened in the final furlong. Sprung was hard riddea all the way. Blue Riage was virtually left. Chopin has gone back. He Bhowed a great flight of speed, made a show of his field and was only cantering all the way and was eased up at the end. Curtsey easily overtook Lady Kent, but had no chance to catch Travers. Won driving and all out; second the same. John J. Regan and Dumont fought it out all the way and Steele outrode Wainwright when it came to a drive. Wainwright was but little help to Dumont and the latter should have won as the race was run. Hallucination was the best, but Preston tried to take her through next to the rail when coming into the stretch and got cut oil and had to pull up and go around. Aden wore Circus Girl down in tho run home, caught her at the sixteenth post and outgamcd her when it cameto a drive, and Howell put it all over Wainwright when it came to a finish. Circus Girl showed tho most early speed and should have won. Miss Chapman was off flatfooted and went all around her field and closed a big gap. Binehelio came with a rush at tho end and was catching the leaders at every stride. Julia J unkin showod little speed. Overweights Julia Junkin, 2 pounds. Aden, show, 8 to 5.
