Allan was interfered with and badly messed about and was probably short, as he failed to cone on at the end. Orloff, in close quarters and badly interfered with, came very fast with clear sailing in the last quarter. He was sore in his preliminary and probably favors soft going. Alice Cary and Ithan were both closing up well. Nevermore probably favors soft going. ; Scratched 33448 Morca, 104. , John A. Scott, show. 2 to 1. Athlana, show, 2 to 5. Rozane is in rare form, forced the pace throughout and was challenged strongly by Cameron in the stretch, but drew away fast at the end. Cameron was reserved to the stretch and made good in brilliant fashion and is a crackerjack. The Amazon, interfered with and badly handled, was closing up fast in the last quarter. Baron Pepper ran a fine race for a first out and was easing up at the end. He favors a distance of ground and can beat this kind when properly placed. Daffadowndilly was outclassed.
