Dynasty hugged the inner rail all the way, shot out of the field in the last few yards and just managed 3 to cot up in time. Rustic Girl was the best and should have won, but Kelly wss watching Himtine and ONeil stole up on him. Oconee closed up strongly after going around the longest way from a slow beginning. Himtine was tiring in the run home. He had no mishaps. The Elba was pocketed on the far? 1 turn. Carrie I. ehowed early speed. Maggie O. showed a lot of early speed, but weakened when the deciding drive came. Gallawater quit. The latter, as usual, did not make his run until in the last furlong, and j closed up with his accustomed speed and would have won in another stride. Gorey tired in the closing ? strides. He showed early speed and was well ridden. Ed Layeon is improving. Spinet closed up strongly after being outrun in the first part of the race. Stunts quit in the stretch.
