NOTES OF THE TURF. The first big two-year-old race of this season in Franco was won by Heart of Oak, a son of Sorcerer. Sorcerer is now at Milton Youngs McGrathiana Btud and his foals are extremely promising. F., Memphis, Tenn. Lizella was even money to show. L. M. and Co., Little Rock, Ark. There may have been place odds where Erema was even money, but we only get post odds and cannot say positively. Levy, Chicago. Zibia and Gregor K. each won at 200 to 1, and were the longest shots of the local season.
