Won easily ; second driving. Annu was lucky at the start and wnll handled, ran nnoxtended all the way and won with much in reserve. Insolence was outpaced in the first half mile, but closed up ground rapidly the rest of the way under punishment. Lord Frar weakened in the last eighth after running, a fast six furlongs. Sortie was ualuoky at the start and with equal racing luok would in all probability have won. Vouch was caught in a jam soon after the start, which ruined his chances. Miss Manners, under a bungling ride, ran surprisingly well. Hly Boots weakened badly when tho final drive came and would have been beaten in another stride for third place. Urganda was running strongly at the" time of falling. Sir Ellerslie was pulled up on account of his saddle slipping. Pretty Rosie Interference and Urganda ran one turn of the field to a false start. Johnny McCartey ran in much improved form and was a keen contender throughout. Autolight met with the repeated interference in addition to being the recipient of a poor ride. Cast Iron was pinched off at tho half mile ground, but finished strongly. April Shower ran poorly. Fannie Blazes showed early speed, but is a non-stayer at over six furlongs Mattie Spencer was never a contender. He was pinched off and nearly knocked down soon after the start, but made up the lost ground gradually, and at the end was drawing away and going stronrfv The Mirage set a fast pace for six furlongs, but found the additional eighth bothersome to negotiate Edinborough ran to his mark and had no mishaps. Firing Line was badly ridden, and should have been closer up. Dandle Bella ran well for six furlongs only.
