Ithan awe V well, held sway throughout and was driving hard through the last quarter, but finished gamely Fair Lass finished strongly, was wearing Ithan down fast at the end and was best. Ipse Dixit came from a long way back and finished strongly. Healing Salve ran a good race. Dainty closed a big gap and is a good looker. Sontag tired right at the end. Won in a canter; second driving Wild Thyme was lucky, waited on the pacemaker to the stretch where she went to the front cantering and was easily best. Merry Acrobat raced around the field and finished strongly and is steadily improving Blue Ribbon broke flatfooted, was pocketed and crossed on the backstretch and forced to pull ud then made up the lost ground quickly, and tired in the stretch. He can do better. Roxboro tired and emit in the last quarter. Fire Eater ran badly and is much the best in mud. Lady Sterling-suddenly improved and ran a remarkably good race. Drummond was greatly handicapped in making the pace, but held on well at the end. Bessie McCarthy, while running under a stiff pull on the far turm, was allowed to be forced out of her position and was badly messed about. I Know failed to stay. Past was probably short.
