Lampoon held her field safe all the way, was never in trouble and had jnuch in reserve at the end. Maghoni was off well in motion and had no mishaps, came again at the end and outgamed Alice Cary when it came to a drive. Alice Cary ran a good race and finished well. Onyx II. was on the outside of the leaders all the way and stumbled a couple of times. Avignon had no chance after the start and was as good as left. Delmarch finished fast and outgaaaed M. V. Tarpey when it came to a drive. Morris saved ground with Lim at the home turn, where he came through next to the inside rail. M. F. Tenagra was hustled along all the way, showed early speed but tired in the last eighth. It was a weak finish on Jack McGinn. Daly kept waving his whip and let go the horses head in the last sixteenth. Roysterer stumbled several times. He was "climbin all the way and evidently does not like the track. Tenagra, show, 8 to 5. Americano showed a high order of speed and made a show of his field. He opened a winning gap in the first quarter and was only cantering at the end. Durazzo was hustled along all the way and outgamed Decoration when it came to a drive. The laBt named began slowly and had to go around the leaders to get up aad tired when tha pinch came. Lone Fisherman was outrun in the first half and Kuhn mado too much use of him when rounding the far turn and he tired when called on. El Oriente was much used up making the pace and tired. Kings Pet went to his knees nt the half mile post. Blue Ridge stumbled a couple of times.
