Heroine caught Dollie Hayman in the last sixteenth, where the latter tired from her early effort and was drawing away at the end. Dollie Hayman was ridden with poor judgment, was the best and with an intelligent ride would have won. Lampshade ran in improved form and finished gamely. Spinet, Tom Hall and Luck-etfc were sharply pinched off on the stretch turn and but for this they might have been factors. The last two at the start were practically left. Algie M. began slowly, saved round on the last turn and finished with a rash.
