Palmette broke badly and went to the front quickly, but the effort tired her. Carat ran his race. So did Satchel. Lou Hazel showed scant speed at any part of the race. Legation can do better. Floyd K. broke well, but was outrun to the stretch, then came fast on the outside and just got up. Doc Mayer ran under restraint to the last sixteenth, but Floyd K.s rush surprised Walsh. His mount came fast when he saw Floyd K., but the latters headway carried him over. Sid Silver ran a good race under a weak ride. Hetzel andDr. Kammerer tired. Hyland can do better. Two Lick showed the most speed, but was tiring at the end and fouled both Pickles and Mudlavia in the run homo. Pickles was given a very bad ride. She showed speed, but was taken back, thrown into a four-horBe jam, given a weak ride in the stretch, but was going very strongly at the end. Mudlavia ran a good race to the Btretch, where she was pinched off next to the rail by Two Lick. Two Lick, show. 6 to 10. Pickles, show, 1 to 2. Mudlavia, show, 2 to 5. Guide Rock can do much better. Ida Ledfords race by no means represents her form. She can do very much better, Amigari quit as if short. Overweights Dutch Carter, 3 pounds. Hucena ran fairly well, but has gone off. Bengal tired under the weight. He was under restraint for the first half and is more of a sprinter than a long distanco horse.
