GOSSIP OF THE TUKF. Capt. S. S. Brown will send the three-year-old colt Blackmore to his Kentucky farm. Blackmore is by Blue Wing Mona. Both of these horses raced in Captain Browns colors years ago. Black-more was highly tried as a two-year-old and was Captain Browns entry in the Saratoga Special of last year. He went wrong, however, and has never yet faced tho starter. He will be rested up for the remainder of this season, and another effort will be made to train him next year. If the attempt should prove futile he will be placed in the stud. The ruling of the Saratoga stewards in connection with alleged doping of the horse Hans Wagner, was not intended to apply to the entire stable of Senator J. S. OBrien, as was at first supposed. The reports to this effect were in error, and Senator OBrien was so informed by the officials when he went to them for a hearing. Tho other horses in Senator OBriens stable are and always were in good standing and the entries of Wild Pirate and others of the string will be accepted by the racing associations whenever offered.
