Lou Hazel, off badly, was taken the short way, saved much ground in the stretch and outgamed the others in the run home. Miss Wandelohr ran a good race and hnng on gamely. Duola was taken the long way and given a weak finish. Chandoo began slowly, but finished with tremendous speed and would have won in a faw more strides. Palmetto tired. Parnassus ran a dull race. Lena A. looked well and was given an easy race. Dr. Scharff ran out in his warm up and also in his race. Scratched 34589 Lynch, 107 ; 34738 Rose of Red, 107. Overweights Chandoo, 2 pounds. Fore and Aft, high and gross in flesh, began slowly, made a fast move at the stretch entry and won drawing away after a short drive. Happy Chappy lest ground on the stretch turn, but came fast in the run home. Picklps showed improvement. So did Nimble Nag. Mamselle ran a very good race under a weak ride. Makeda can do better. Louis Wagnerwell rated behind the pacemakers to the stretch and was given a powerful finish Frank m3 J ,bi. short. He was well ridden and appeared like a winner to the last thirty yards. Croix d Ur nmshed with a tremendous burst of speed and would have won in another stride. Ed L was standing flatfootad when they broke, took after the field and showed a tremendous turn of speed but wavered in the closing strides. Miss Golightly ran a good race. She will do soon. Hilee was in close quarters all the way, much interfered with and ran a good race. Erema is worn and gone off Henry Bert closed up very fast and ran a grand race under a weak ride.
