Velasquez ran a good race and might have won had not Battiste pulled Lighthunt across him in the stretch. Lighthunt was a new horse today, showed speed and ran a fine race. Optimo was a giod horse, took all the worst of the going and stood a drive gamely, but tired in the last few yarJs. Sister Sarah about ran her race. The weight stonoed Zonne.
