Won easily ; second the same. Orrie Goan, lucky at the start and favored by the going, was muchthe best. He set a fast early pace and had the race well in hand from the start. Aratoma, apparently under restraint for the first half, came strongly through the stretch, but was unequal to the task of beating the winner. Hurry, favored at the start, showed early speed and ran in slightly improved form. Lord Frazer ran poorly in going supposed to be to his liking. Competitor was off too badly to be a factor. Ducassa was practically left and Vouch wheeled as the barrier was released. .Scratched 35148 Lelia Barr, 105; 35144 Worthington, 105; 35179 Meggs, 105. Orrie Goan. show, out. Aratoma, show, out. Jim Nap was much the best of a bad field and ran u ider easy restraint the entire way. Assassin ran his race and had no mishaps. La Gorta saved ground on the stretch bend and caught Vituria tiring in the last sixteenth. Vituria ran prominoutly for the first five-eighths, but faded fast after that. Loyal Prince was practically left at the post. With an equal send-off ho would in all probability have finished second. 3cratched-S3088 Micou, 122; 35174 Old Phil, 1!9; 35204 King D., 114. Himtine, away well in motion, took kindly to the going, paced the field fast and came away in the last eighth, winning with much in reserve. Mrs. Frank Foster, evidently a youngster of fair class, was a sharp factor throughout and outgamed Lady Kent in a hard stretch drive. Lady Kent had no mishaps and ran to her previous form. Soothsayer was closing up fast at the end. Firing Line was crowded out soon after the start. He finished with a rush and liks a longer diatance. The Bronze Demon ran poorly and can do mueh better. Lome went to the front when called on and won as his rider pleased. His race today was in striking contrast to his last previous effort. George Perry saved much ground on the last bend and finished fast. Lansdown, taken the longest way, ran a good race and finished with a rush. F. G. Good was crowded out at the start and ran into prominence in the stretch, but tired in the last twenty yards. Eddie T. ran a fast half, but was well spent after that. Lampshade was sharply pinched off on the turn by Lome and George Perry and this ruined his chances. Scratched 352083Bank Street, 99. Overweights Lansdown, 2 pounds; Lampshade, 4. Georgia Gardner, well handled, paced the field under restraint for the first three-quarters and tired slightly after that, but had enough left to stall off Easy Street. The latter made a bid on the stretch turn but swerved and weakened in the run home. Presgrave appeared to labor in the going and could not keep up. Santa Teresa was never a serious factor.
