Luna Minor ran past her field while going around the turn and won easily, though she loafed and had to be driven at the end. Tenedos, badly ridden, ran a fine race under a very weak ride. Catherine Knox closed up much ground and seemed to l:ke the going. Legation was given a sadly weak ride. Maid of Hope tired. Luna Minor, show, 4 to 5. Tenedos, show, 2 to 1. Saragamp waB at home in the going, came fast through the stretch and won at her leisure. Toad Rainey ran well, but tired from setting the pace under a weak rider. Ed Layson showed much speed, made a fast move at the stretch turn and finished strongly. Waldo pulled out in the stretch and badly interfered with Handspinuer, for which Ed Layson was disqualified. Handspinner was in the deep going all the way to the stretch turn, but ran a good race and had something left at the end. Mudlavia ran to the mark. Wolfram quit when challenged. No show betting. Sha ran a good race and finished strongly. Aules by no means ran his race. The Buffoon showed speed and ran well for five furlongs, then tired. Sinfl is apprrently of no present account. Tulare ran a good race today and was a much improved horse, in marked contrast to his last out, when he was beaten off in mud by the same horses, Admetus beat him forty lengths when last out. Erne ran right to the mark. Zonne seemed like a winner at the half, but sulked. SwordBman is of no present account. Russian does not favor mud. Admetus seemingly could not extend himself and ran far below his true form. Scratched 352813Dandy Jim, 109. Tulare, show, 3 to 1. Erne, show, 1 to 2. Zonne, show, evens. Admetus, show, 1 to 2.
