Insolence showed the most speed and, being well handled, lasted well and outgamed Prancer in the last sixteenth. Prancer was much the best of the others in the going. Provost cut the corner closely into the stretch and finished strongly. Winifred Norwood was badly ridden and should have been much closer up. Loyal Prince ran away a mile before the start. Kid Hampton was well up in the first half, but lost ground by a wide swing into the stretch. Relncent was closing up strongly and would have been third in another stride. Himtine showed the most early speed, but tired in the run home and would have baen beaten in another stride. Worth-ington showed a decided liking for the going and ran in much improved form. Jim Nap ran a fairly good race and had no mishaps. DynaBty ran far below her previous form and can do much better. Georgia Gardner does not like a sloppy track. Flaneur seemingly lacked speed. It was a hard drive between the first three through the last quarter. Soothsayer lasted well and stood punishment gamely. Begone swung wide into the stretch, but finished strongly. Mrs. Frank Foster forced the pace in the early stages, was in the deepest going throughout and only weakened when the weight told. Tom Hall began slowly and finished with a rush. Baffled was badly outrun in the early stages, but saved considerable ground on the stretch bend, finished with a rush and got up in the last stride. Senator Beveridge showed more early speed than usual, but tired badly when called on for a final effort. Meggs had no mishaps. L. W. tired palpably after forcing the pace in the first half mile. Bodell showed much early speed, but was well Bpent after going a half mile. Tommy Knight was well up throughout and showed a liking for the going. President ran poorly. Alcona was running strongly at the end. Dr. Carr showed a flash, but weakened and was eased up at the end.
