A DISAPPOINTING HALE. Geavesend Hace Track, October 4 The sale of the McLewoe and Brady stable of horses before the races this afternoon was a great disappointment to everyone except the people who bought the two cracks, Gold Heels and Major Daingerfield. The former brought but ,500, less than half his value, if he should never race again, the Major fetched just 0,500. far below his real worth. Jockey OConnor got Gold Heels and B. A. Draper Major Daingerfield. OConnor was probably acting for some one else. The bidding was slow, it being some time before any sort of a figure could be obtained for either horse. The summary was as follows : Gold Heels, 4; W. OConnor $ 6,500 Major Daingerfield, 3; R. A. Draper 10,500 Withers, 5: A. J Joynor 100 Luck and Charity, 3 ; N.
