WESTERN JOCKEY CLUB ACTION. The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Stewards of tho Western Jockey Club wai held om Monday and Tuesday, October 6 and 7, 1902. Morse was appointed official steward t represent tho Western Jockey Club at the fall meeting at Worth, George G. Perkins at Latonia, H, Nathanson at Lakeside, and C. S. Bush at the win-tor meeting of the Crescent City Jockey Club. It appearing to the Board of Stewards of the Western Jockey Club from evidence submitted in the matter of the appeal of S. S. Tracoy and Com-pany from protest filed with the Chicago Jockey Club that S. S. Tracey of said firm is duly licensed by Tho Jockey Club and the Western Jockey Club, and that his licenses are now in full force and effect and that the members of the firm are at the present time in good standing. It is therefore ordered that said protest be and is declared invalid and that the Chicago Jockey Club be ordered to pay the purse over to the firm of 8. S. Tracoy and Company. The protest against payment of a forfeit of 00 against R. R. Rice was sustained and the forfeit clerk was ordered to return tho money to Mr, Rice. Tho action of the Chicago Jockey Club in enforcing the payment of forfeits lodged against C. R. McLean was sustained, and it was ordered that the money bo paid over to those for whose account the forfeits wore lodged. The following disqualified porsons and horses were restored to the privilege of all tracks racing under tho jurisdiction of the Western Jockey Club: E. and G. W. Bock, owners; the horso Georgia Gardner. J; R. Hand, owner; the horses Golden Rattle, Welch Girl, Onomastus, Economic. G. C. Hughes, owner; the horse Sweet Charity. S. W. Terry and tho horses Intent and Fannie Enox was denied. No action was taken on the application for removal of disqualification of Henry Black and the horses Lula Hammond, Jessie Y., Thicket and Humming Bird, and he was referred to the New York Jockey Club for information as to his standing. Application of Otto Neimeyor for permissiongto race the horse Latonka was denied. Tho following owners, trainers and jockeys were reinstated: D. B. Austin, Frank Hogan, D. J. Leary, Thomas Casey, T. McHugh, George Schill. Applications for reinstatement of D. E. Lindeey and T. McGovern were passed to the next meeting of tho Board. H The.C following applications for reinstatement were denied: E. Shader, L. Spencer, C. R. Wilson, E. Wilson. It was ordered that apprentice licenses be issued to Jerome Heim and George Forrest upon receipt of applications and certified copies of their contracts. The licenses of Charles H. Hughes and E. G. Wachter, trainers, previously revoked, wore restored. The following applications for license were passed for future action: W. P. Doyle and B. Gouin, trainers. William Grand, jockey. W. Coleman, A. Cormack and G. Watson, apprentices. Tha license of James Bookie, apprentice, was revoked. It was ordered that jockey William Grand and apprentice W. Coleman send their address to the Secretary of the Western Jockey Clnb, and that unless the order is complied with by October 20 they will be stopped from riding.
