Captain Hugh Bradley easily passed Bed Sam after the first three furlongs had been run and simply ran away from the field. Angelo ran well and was easily the best of the others. North Pole outstayed Antagonist in the last eighth struggle. The latter ran a dull race and showed scant speed. Jackfull tired perceptibly in the last eighth. Bed Sam showed early speed. The latter finished strongly under a weak riae, but could not quite reach. Dark 8ecret was much the best or the others. Birdwood tired fast after the first Bix furlongs had been run. Little Bobbins was too weak to control him when passing the wire, and the gelding ran away two and one-half miles before he could be stopped. Babuta showed early speed. Scotch Plaid was not called until far down the backstretch where he went to the front ia a stride and played with the field thereafter. Irving Mayer ran a surprisingly good race. He moved up with a ruah just befora turning for home and easily passed everything but the winner. Lady Meddlesome waB tiring in the last sixteenth and would have lost third place to Pirates Qneen in a few more strides. The latter ran a dull race and is hard to guess. King Barleycorn showed much early speed. The winner, entered for S400 was run up to 05 and bid in.
